NEW ZINE! Purchase here.
"This is a zine produced by the Henderson State University Writer’s Circle in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. We are a small group of writers who workshop every week and host monthly poetry and short story readings for students, faculty and staff.
We are a new club on campus, and are in desperate need of funds to help sponsor the monthly poetry nights and other club activities.
Issue #1 of Youth In Poverty sports the face of Arthur Rimbaud. It is 22 pages long, black and white. Inside are stories and poetry by the Writer’s Circle, and each page was designed by the writer whose work appears there. You will find collages, poetry about self harm, helplessness, love, loss of love and feeling like you don’t belong.
100% of the proceeds go to supporting this writer’s club in small town Arkansas. We are the only club for writers on campus.”
